Jacky Henley
Kim &
I have many fond memories of Jacky over the years. She was an active ESPSA member for many years
and the chair of the ESPSA before us. Her legacy includes big fund raising projects such as the funding and
selection of the fantastic KS 2 adventure play equipment in consultation with
the children and also smaller projects
such as wet play games, reading books, kitchen equipment and funding of school
trips/visitors. After passing on the
role of chair, she continued to be actively involved in ESPSA events and supported us as newly elected
co-chairs. She never shied away from a
job and for example, spent each fireworks day hauling logs and pallets to make
sure the job got done. She always manned
the hook a teddy stall at the summer fayre and happily shared her knowledge
with others.
If you would like to attend, the funeral will
be at St Peter’s Church at 2pm , Friday 15th January, with the burial nearby at
Mays Lane Cemetery at 3.15pm. Tea and
coffee will be served in the school hall from 3.45pm.
Jacky would
prefer donations rather than flowers, and her favourite charity was
Tiggywinkles animal hospital.

If you would
like to support a cancer related
charity please donate to MacMillan.

Our thoughts
and prayers are with Jacky’s husband Rob and her son Mark at this sad time.
