This was the first school disco that Helen
and I organized so we were a bit nervous about it all going well, but
thankfully everything went according to plan.
Our
new DJ, Fred the Shed was brilliant and tailored his approach to the
different age groups. For the little ones, he did a magic show and for
the older ones he projected music videos. The feedback from the children
(and supervisors) was that Fred did a fantastic job. Unless he finds a
gig in Ibiza, we’ll definitely be using his services again.
Helen, Nigel and Zoe turned out to be a fantastic tattooist and Julia and Katie
made sure that the girls (and some boys) nails were painted to
perfection. The girls at the catering station worked as tirelessly as
ever and everyone who manned the ticket desk did a fantastic job.
I’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone involved. We managed to raise a whopping £847 which makes all the hard work worthwhile.
