ESPSA GREAT CHRISTMAS CAKE BAKE OFF 2014

Following last year’s success, once again we are giving you the chance to show off your Creative Christmassy Cake decorating skills in the GREAT CHRISTMAS CAKE BAKE OFF!

The cake itself can be homemade or a shop bought cake but the important thing is that you do the decorating yourself. Your cake needs to be decorated in a Christmassy theme – how about a snowman made of marshmallows, Father Christmas made of marzipan or a chocolate finger sleigh of presents?  We know that you may need a bit of a helping hand from a grown up to get all the things that you will need but as much as possible the cake should be your own handiwork.
Cakes need to be brought to the back of the school hall by 8.45am on Friday 5th December  and will be judged by a panel of ‘expert’ cake makers.  There will be three  prizes awarded this year – one for the best cake from Foundation Stage/Key Stage 1, one from Key Stage 2 and, new this year, one to anyone who has either left the school or an adult who fancies taking part! Prizes will be given out in assembly that day.

All cakes received will be sold on Saturday 6th December at our Christmas Fayre. For this reason please ensure that your cake is on something that you don’t need back.
