Introducing the team: Sarah Birney

My name is Sarah Birney. I have a daughter in year 4 and my son is in year 3.

I am currently working as a freelance accountant and, as my children will be at the school for the next 7 years, I wanted to get involved in something that would directly benefit them as well as all the other children at Earley St. Peter's. 

I grew up in Reading but left the area after leaving school. I returned here in 2011 and I'm enjoying living in Earley and getting involved in school life.
